Question : How to create a SAP service in Windows environment?
Answer : Using sapstartsrv program from SAP.
Here’s the procedure,
- Run sapstartsrv -t from SAP executable files folder.
- Fill in the required fields as picture below.
- Click OK.
- In case you want to uninstall the service, you can use sapstartsrv.exe -u
Notes :
Register COM type library can be used if the registry is deleted by accident.
Use START profile instead of instance profile.
User SAPService<SID> is created when you install SAP in Windows environment.
